FAQ'S ABOUT FISHINg
Best Time to Fish
Occasional fronts pass through in the winter months that make the waters rough, though they don't last long. Occasionally, the weather will keep the boats in harbor. In the summer time, the mornings are often very calm but by afternoon, some thunderstorms can roll in. It's best in the summer to get after fishing in the morning and in the late afternoon. Snooker and Snappers bite after dark.
The Best Time of Year to Fish
Seasonally, the best time to fish is in the spring and fall. The variety of fish then is spectacular, and if you're looking for a great day fishing, schedule it for the spring or fall. It's a tough call on any given day to determine how the fishing may be. Some people are willing to guarantee you will catch fish before you ever get your lines in the water, but those are cases of buyer beware. Even I can predict how many fish you will catch if you don't put lines in the water.
Do you ever throw fish back in the water?
......All the time
I'm traveling and staying in a hotel, what can i do with the fish i catch and keep?
.....A few options. Captain Bill can refer you to a few local restaurants that offer a cooking service for your fresh catch. These eateries will cook your fresh fish to your desire. You will be charged for their preparation, cooking, flavoring and what not. Some offer salads and specials when you do this. Captain Bill will point you in the right direction depending on where your hotel is located and what restaurants are closest to you. The other option is to ship your frozen fish home or bring them home on your flight. You will have to check with your Airlines for their rules about boarding with frozen fish.
What will i do with the fish i won't eat?
.....Captain Bill and the Crew will donate the fresh fish you choose not to keep or eat to local charities. Employees of Naughty Girl Sport Fishing DO NOT EVER keep the fish for themselves and will never sell it. Captain Bill will let you know more information on the local charity organizations they often provide customers unwanted fresh fish catches to.
Can i eat the fish i catch?
.....Absolutely! Captain Bill can provide cleaning and fillet services. He can also point you to local restaurants that will offer cooking services, as stated above.

ALL GUESTS OF NAUGHTY GIRL SPORT FISHING - PLEASE READ CAREFULLY
* * * What You Need to Know about Your Fishing Experience
.....The level of experience in saltwater deep-sea fishing is crucial if you want to hook, leader, and gaff on your own. Beginners will be taught all the steps along the way but this job is primarily for our Mate-Skipper unless you are an *Experienced Angler. It is very important to make sure you don't loose our rods or equipment overboard or get pulled off the boat and into the ocean when a fish is fighting against you. Even a small fish will feel like a giant fish because the force of the fish is going the opposite direction and towards the ocean floor, the fast moving ocean current, and a moving boat creates a very heavy pull. This is also why we have fighting chairs to keep you strapped in. Beginners will still have a hands on experience and learn these skills, but our mate will guide you or take on hook, leader, and gaff duties for your safety. Also we don't want to have to charge you for the loss of expensive fishing rods and equipment - It is Important to Note that ALL GUESTS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR EQUIPMENT - Meaning you will held liable and you will be responsible for replacing any equipment if it goes overboard and is lost at sea. *Please discuss the level of experience of your group with the Captain and Crew on the day of your trip so there are No Misunderstandings. This is all a matter of the safety of our guests' and protecting our fishing equipment you will be held responsible for. Please Call Captain Bill for any additional questions.
